The superior family room was excellent, with a generous layout with two spacious king-size beds and a large terrace. The food was a good surprise, particularly the Manchego ratatouille, and the staff were helpful, accommodating special requests like lunch boxes for an early departure. There was some dust on the surfaces that required cleaning to fully enjoy the stay. The lack of central heating made the initial return to the room a bit chilly, but the AC warmed it quickly.

welcoming, polite and attentive staff.
Hotel by the road, can only sleep with a closed window, the noise of transport.

It is a modern property located in Centrum district short walk to the metro / train / bus stations, the central railway station and transit hub and an elegant restaurant.

The air conditioning barely did its job, leaving the room uncomfortably warm at times. I found pieces of clutter under the bed likely from previous guests, which raised cleanliness concerns, and some items at breakfast seemed stale without any labels. The limited parking capacity led to frustrating logjams when trying to manage departure times.

It was just a good match for a couple of nights with reasonable price. The breakfast was filling, which helped start the day right. Make sure to arrive early if you need parking since spaces are limited.

we made a late night booking after our bad experience at the vega and arrived at about 10pm, the staff was very friendly and offered a drink while we waited for our room the reason the room was not ready yet was because of the late booking, helped us with our luggage which the vega did not even do, food at breakfast was ok but cold, but in general not a bad hotel
trams were very noisy in main road close to our room

My favorite was the super comfy beds 😍 The cleanliness was excellent, but the noisy street could be bothersome at night. A decent stay close to town with good breakfast options.

I dare say that Budapest Hotel was the best point of my stay in Sofia. Very elegant, impeccably clean, felt that I was the first to stay in the room. Safe garage for our car, rich breakfast buffet, discreet personel. I left with the best impredssions. Keep on with the good work!

This place suits me perfectly. I love the 24-hour reception, restaurant, and free Wi-Fi. The staff once provided me with a cold drink to beat the heat. Always an enjoyable stay, coming back for a city trip!

Nice and serviceminded staff.Great Breakfast.
The Wi-Fi wasn't working at 7th floor. Placed in a poor neighborhood of the city.

Very friendly hotel but the best of all was the superb buffet breakfast which had a very good continental breakfast but also terrific English style breakfast on a hot plate including fried bread, eggs, mushrooms and bacon plus scrambled and boiled eggs. Such a nice change. Price well worth it for the breakfast alone but everything else was good value as well. Easy to get to shops although the road its in is not scenic! No need for a taxi from the bus/train station either, just a short walk. Just beware of the taxi charge to the airport. It should be no more than 12 levs.
